CHARLIE ALBONE & JULIET LOVE’s KITCHEN PROJECT
Charlie Albone, TV host of Channel 7’s Better Homes & Gardens, and his interior stylist wife, Juliet Love, are seasoned experts when it comes to renovation projects. So, after purchasing a tired beachside property ripe for renovation, the talented design duo knew exactly how to transform the dated kitchen into a relaxing coastal haven with Caesarstone® Alpine Mist™ , fabricated and installed by Form-Rite.
In their new modern galley layout, the hob and a double butler’s sink are located along the back benchtops, with a matching Caesarstone island bench in the centre of the space. The island is the perfect place for their food prep and casual dining with friends and family, and the new design maximises the space with room for stools and ample legroom.
When it came to choosing colours for their new kitchen design, Juliet says they opted for a soft colour palette to evoke a laid-back coastal feel. The cool grey of Caesarstone® Alpine Mist™ with its crisp white veins was an ideal fit to complement their colour palette. With fresh white cabinetry, and a seafoam green, marble fish scale tile splashback, their chosen tones work beautifully with the benchtops.
Form-Rite fabricated the Caesarstone for the back benches and the island to a 40mm thickness, finished with a Lamb’s Tongue edge for a smooth and sophisticated touch.
To create a sense of flow between the spaces and a seamless, high end feel, Caesarstone® Alpine Mist™ was also built into the living area TV unit. Serving as base shelving, Form-Rite finished the Caesarstone for the TV unit with a suitable clean, straight
edge.
